Products
LGMG builds a full line of telescopic boom lift products globally and currently offers two telescopic boom lift models specifically designed to meet U.S. customer and jobsite requirements.
With platform heights ranging from 65' to 85' and dual-capacity platforms up to 992 lb, LGMG telescopic boom lifts provide rental companies and end users with outstanding horizontal outreach, jobsite efficiency and direct-access performance for construction, industrial maintenance, steel erection, bridge and infrastructure applications.
Both the T65J-H high-capacity diesel telescopic boom lift, featuring a 65’ maximum platform height and a 54’6” maximum horizontal outreach, and the T85J-H high-capacity diesel telescopic boom lift, which delivers an 85’ maximum platform height and a 70’10” maximum horizontal outreach, offer extra capacity boasting a dual capacity of 661 lb (unrestricted) and 992 lb (restricted).
What is a telescopic boom lift?
Telescopic boom lifts, also known as straight boom lifts or stick boom lifts, are specifically designed to lift operators and their tools/materials to elevated work areas safely. These machines deliver exceptional horizontal outreach and working height performance for construction, industrial maintenance, bridge and infrastructure applications and feature a powerful telescoping boom lift design that extends outward in a straight line. They typically feature powerful diesel engines designed for demanding outdoor jobsite environments, while electric and hybrid powered options are also available for low-emission applications.
How does a telescopic boom lift differ from other types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)?
The telescopic boom lift uses extending boom sections to achieve greater outreach and elevation, making it ideal when direct access, long reach and jobsite efficiency are the top priorities. It stands out from other types of lifts because of its straight boom design and ability to deliver maximum horizontal and vertical reach. Unlike scissor lifts, which are designed primarily for vertical access, and articulating boom lifts, which use multiple pivot points to maneuver around obstacles, a telescoping boom lift extends in a direct line. This makes them especially valuable for multi-story construction, steel erection, industrial maintenance, bridge work, and infrastructure projects. Their straight boom design allows operators to reach distant work areas quickly with fewer boom movements and reduced machine repositioning.
Why choose a telescopic boom lift?
Telescopic boom lift models are commonly used on large-scale construction sites, infrastructure projects, and industrial maintenance jobs where access to high and distant work platforms is required. Their robust design, rough-terrain capability, long outreach and high-capacity platform performance make them a preferred choice for demanding outdoor and heavy-duty applications.
Why choose an LGMG telescopic boom lift?
LGMG telescopic boom lifts deliver the lift capacity, horizontal outreach and jobsite durability required for demanding industrial applications, as well as high-rise building construction and maintenance and bridge work. LGMG straight booms provide enhanced stability, simplified operation, direct-access efficiency and outstanding horizontal outreach performance.
The machines are designed with telescoping boom lift rental fleets in mind, and combine high performance, operator comfort and low total cost of ownership for rental, construction, industrial, maintenance and facility management applications. Designed to compete with leading boom lift brands, LGMG boom lifts offer strong return on investment through proven technology, simplified maintenance and a high level of standard equipment that reduces the need for costly add-ons.
LGMG includes more standard features than many competitive models, including a Hostile Environment Kit with cylinder bellows, boom wipers, hydraulic hose sheathing and a metal platform control box cover for harsh jobsite conditions. Additional standard safety features such as steel service covers, auto-leveling platforms, active oscillating axles, dual-capacity platforms and lockable master battery disconnect switches further enhance durability, productivity and fleet security. Standard four-wheel drive further improves performance on uneven terrain.
Another key advantage is LGMG’s industry-leading warranty*, which provides long-term confidence and helps reduce lifecycle costs for owners.
