LGMG North America expands service support for mixed, multi-brand fleets

Equipped with specialized service technicians and dedicated repair facility, the LGMG Service Center helps rental companies, contractors and fleet owners manage major repairs, inspections, refurbishments and parts support for aerial work platforms (AWPs), construction and utility equipment from a variety of OEMs.

Fleet operators need their equipment available, reliable and ready to work. Major repairs, tedious service requirements and damaged equipment can tie up technicians and shop space.

LGMG North America’s Service Center is a dedicated regional service resource for companies that require support for major, complex and time-consuming repairs. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the facility provides the space, tools and specialized technicians needed to complete these repairs.

Though the center is operated by LGMG, one of the world’s premier equipment manufacturers, it also supports machines made by other brands. The goal is to provide a practical way for customers to reduce downtime, keep equipment working and preserve the capacity of their own service technicians.

The LGMG Service Center gives fleet owners another practical service resource when they have major, complex and time-consuming repairs that can take valuable time away from their own teams.

A Rental Partner Focused on your Success

Most rental companies and construction companies are not managing single-brand fleets. They have boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, skid steers and excavators from different OEMs, and they need service support that reflects that reality. By providing services for a wide range of equipment, the LGMG Service Center gives customers a more useful service option for the types of machines they rely on every day.

Complex repairs that support uptime

LGMG Service Center specializes in large, time-intensive repairs that would otherwise take internal teams away from other day-to-day work, such as routine maintenance, inspections and rent-ready work.

For equipment rental companies, time is money. Every day a machine is out of service affects utilization and profitability. Many rental fleets operate on a 28-day billing cycle, creating 13 billing periods each year and maximizing revenue potential. When a machine remains in the shop beyond that cycle, it not only stops generating income but continues to depreciate, becoming a direct cost that eats into the bottom line. Created with this reality in mind, the LGMG Service Center targets a 28-day turnaround for major repairs, helping customers get their equipment back in service before the next billing period, protecting profitability and keeping the fleet working.

By handling complex jobs, the facility helps customers improve operational efficiency and maintain stronger fleet utilization.

The center’s services include:

  • Structural replacement work, including boom  and rotation bearing replacements
  • System overhauls including extend/retract cable replacements, full wiring harnesses replacements and rehosing of hydraulic systems
  • Extensive damage repair
  • Full refurbishment and reconditioning
  • Remounts and new body mounts
  • Annual inspections (conveniently performed as an add-on during repair visits)
  • Other major repairs

The center sources and supplies parts for a wide range of equipment, including OEM and quality aftermarket parts where available.

Why regional service access matters

The Charlotte region is one of the fastest-growing areas in the country, with a high concentration of rental fleets and ongoing construction activity.

Located within this dynamic market, the North-Carolina-based Service Center strengthens LGMG North America’s ability to reach customers across the Southeast, where equipment demand and the need for timely service continue to grow. The facility provides convenient access to OEM parts and service capabilities, supported by well-equipped infrastructure and a team experienced in specialized repairs.

A regional service resource helps reduce:

  • Transportation time
  • Repair coordination challenges
  • Logistics costs
  • Downtime associated with sending equipment to more distant service providers

For companies across the Southeast, proximity matters. If a machine needs specialized service, having a regional option can help reduce transportation time, simplify coordination and get equipment back into productive use more efficiently.

At its core, the LGMG Service Center serves as an extension of a company’s service operations, helping it meet increasing demands for uptime, efficiency and dependable servicing capabilities.

This reflects LGMG North America’s continued investment in supporting rental fleets. It’s about going beyond equipment delivery and acting as a true partner to help customers continue growing their business, long after the machine has been purchased.

Uptime, reliability, fleet utilization, lifecycle value and long-term equipment performance are the focus of every rental fleet. The LGMG Service Center ensures they have a partner for the long haul.
