LGMG has two vertical mast lift models that range from 19’8” – 24’7” platform height. Both have a 352 lb platform capacity.

  • What is a vertical mast lift?

Vertical mast lifts are compact, efficient aerial solutions designed for work in tight spaces where maneuverability and precision are critical. Like scissors lifts that are named after the shape of the lifting structure, vertical mast lifts are named after the mast structure that raises and lowers the platform. Built for indoor applications, these electric-powered machines feature a small platform that typically accommodates a single operator and their tools.

  • How does a vertical mast lift differ from other types of mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)?

Vertical mast lifts only move vertically. While they may have a jib, they lack the ability of boom lifts to extend beyond the footprint of the machine. Typically, the platforms of vertical mast lifts are smaller than scissor lifts, giving them a smaller footprint. The vertical lifting structure for vertical mast lifts has constraints that limit height and capacity, so most vertical masts are designed for a single operator and have a platform of 30 feet or less. The same vertical mast lifting structure does reduce the weight, which gives these machines several advantages over scissor lifts.

  • Why choose a vertical mast lift?

Vertical mast lifts are smaller and lighter compared to scissor lifts. They are an excellent choice for tight indoor spaces with limited floor loading. Their size and maneuverability make them the preferred choice for job applications with space constraints such as data centers, warehouses, hospitals, and retail aisles.

Vertical mast lifts are a practical addition to any fleet, as they are designed specifically for straightforward vertical access tasks. Unlike boom lifts, they focus on efficient straight-up elevation rather than horizontal reach or large platform capacity, making them well suited to repetitive overhead work.

They can also be used alongside larger access equipment, but they often come into their own in applications where operators repeatedly access similar heights throughout the day. This makes them particularly effective in environments such as retail stores, distribution centers, and commercial facilities, where routine maintenance, stock handling, and servicing tasks are carried out at elevation.

  • Why choose an LGMG vertical mast lift?

LGMG vertical mast lift models are engineered to deliver access to elevated work platforms while maintaining a minimal footprint. The compact design of LGMG vertical mast lifts allows operators to navigate narrow aisles and doorways, and confined work areas. Both models have double doors for wider service access for maintenance, and a leak containment system is standard for cleaner operation. The straightforward controls and proprietary software give smoother operation and quick positioning to help operators complete tasks efficiently while minimizing downtime and fatigue.

Whether you're working in a warehouse, retail environment, healthcare facility, or commercial building, an LGMG vertical mast lift delivers the access, efficiency, and convenience needed to keep your project moving. Additionally, LGMG’s warranty covers the machine fully for 5 years*.
