LGMG North America puts rental fleets first at The ARA Show with new access and material handling equipment

Product strategy is shaped by the day-to-day realities of rental fleets and high-utilization environments.

LGMG North America (LGMG NA) will use The ARA Show to spotlight its rental-driven approach to the mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) and telehandler markets, featuring two new product launches designed specifically with rental fleets in mind: the SS1932ER micro scissor lift and the H1256 telehandler. Both machines will be on display at Booth #4870, alongside a broader selection of LGMG access equipment currently operating in rental fleets across North America.

As rental companies continue to balance utilization, uptime and total cost of ownership, LGMG NA has structured its product strategy around machines built for repeat rental cycles and consistent jobsite performance. The company’s approach centers on practical design, proven jobsite-tested technology and support systems that help keep equipment working and earning.

That rental-first philosophy has gained traction with independent and regional rental

companies as well as larger national fleets, reflecting an understanding that long-term value is established by getting machines onto real jobsites and keeping them productive over time.

“Our focus is on the realities of rental,” said Craig Paylor, president of LGMG North America. “Utilization, uptime and ownership value drive every decision rental fleets make, and that’s what guides how we build equipment and how we support it.

Reliability and serviceability matter far more than adding technology that doesn’t deliver real value in the field.”

LGMG SS1932ER micro scissor lift

The SS1932ER micro scissor lift is designed to support construction, maintenance and installation work in environments where access is limited by narrow aisles, tight layouts or confined indoor spaces. Its compact footprint allows it to be easily maneuvered in space-constrained conditions common in modern infrastructure, industrial and commercial facilities.

Built with rental use in mind, the SS1932ER emphasizes ease of operation, durability and manageability to support frequent turnover and repeat deployment across a wide range of applications.

Paylor noted that demand for micro scissor lifts has accelerated as jobsite layouts continue to tighten.

“We’re seeing strong momentum for micro scissor lifts tied to infrastructure projects, chip manufacturing, data centers, shipyards and factory construction,” he said. “These jobsites require compact machines that can move easily into confined areas, operate reliably indoors and hold up over time in rental service.”

The new micro slab scissor SS1932ER offers a maximum platform height of 18’1” (in) and 14’9” (out). It features a true compact design, with a 31.9” overall width and

a 61” overall length. Its stowed height is under 6’7”, which allows operators to pass through standard doorways without folding guardrails. A 500 lb platform capacity is rated for up to two occupants (2 indoor, 1 outdoor).

Its permanent magnet synchronous lift motor provides smoother motion for better control and higher efficiency, meaning more working time between charges.

LGMG H1256 telehandler

The H1256 telehandler is designed to handle everyday lifting, placement and material staging tasks common across construction, infrastructure and industrial projects. Its straightforward design prioritizes dependable performance, ease of service and predictable operation over long ownership cycles.

For rental fleets, the H1256 provides a versatile material handling solution that can be deployed across a wide range of jobsite conditions without adding unnecessary complexity. It has a 12,000 lb lift capacity, 56’1” max height and 42’ outreach for demanding tasks.

Three steering modes, including four-wheel and crab steer, allow operators to easily navigate tight job sites. With four-wheel drive and industry-standard Dana® limited-slip axles, the H1256 excels in uneven and demanding terrains. It features a 120 HP Cummins® engine with a 15.5 mph travel speed, helping operators move quickly across large sites.

The H1256 has a rugged design with more steel to handle daily tasks. For example, a durable steel engine cover comes standard. Its ergonomic cab features intuitive controls, multiple load chart placements for quick reference and a spacious layout to reduce operator fatigue.

Additional equipment on display

In addition to the new product launches, LGMG will showcase a selection of access equipment from its broader rental portfolio. The display will include micro scissor lifts, boom lifts and vertical mast lifts that are already working in rental fleets today.

These machines are designed to support consistent utilization through straightforward service access, repeatable performance and durability suited to high-turn rental environments.

Supporting fleets beyond the sale

Warranty coverage remains an important component of LGMG’s value proposition. The company offers a five-year warranty on mobile elevating work platforms and a three-year warranty on telehandlers*, providing additional confidence for rental fleet owners.

A warranty only matters if you can stand behind it in the field,” Paylor said. “Fast access to service is what keeps machines working instead of sitting idle.”

*Terms and conditions apply. Subject to LGMG’s warranty policies then in effect. Please visit www.lgmgna.com/warranty for details.
